Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the murder of a man who was found shot in his flat in Leeds.

Jordan Stapleton, 21, was discovered in the bathroom of his home in Beckhill Close, Meanwood, on Tuesday. His young son was found sleeping in a bedroom.

West Yorkshire Police said armed officers raided three properties in the city on Saturday morning.

Two men, aged 18 and 19, were arrested in Meanwood on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.

A woman, 22, and a 24-year-old man who were arrested on Friday on suspicion of conspiracy to murder have been released without charge, police said.

A third person, a 27-year-old man from West Park who was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, remains in custody on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs.

However, he too faces no further action in relation to the conspiracy to murder arrest.

Police found Mr Stapleton in his first-floor flat late on Tuesday.

His four-year-old son is now being cared for by family.
