Man, 57, found with serious injuries in Chapeltown

A 57-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital in Leeds after being found seriously injured at a property in the city.

Police were called to a house on Sholebroke Terrace, Chapeltown, at about 20:50 GMT on Wednesday following reports of a man with head injuries.

The man was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he underwent surgery. He remains in a critical condition.

Police are trying to trace four men seen near the scene.
