Bradford City fire victims remembered at cup final
A Bradford City fan has said the League Cup final is a chance to remember those supporters who lost their lives in a fire at the club's ground.
Dave Hustler was awarded a medal for bravery after he helped rescue people after fire swept through a stand at the club's Valley Parade ground, killing 56 spectators and injuring hundreds more in May 1985.
Over the years, Mr Hustler and other supporters and players at the club have raised money to fund a burns' research unit at Bradford University led by consultant plastic surgeon Professor David Sharpe.
The Bradford City players will be wearing special tracksuits, bearing the number 56 to commemorate the victims of the blaze, before the final at Wembley on Sunday.
