A1 in West Yorkshire reopens after fatal collision

Part of the A1 in West Yorkshire has reopened following two separate crashes in which a man was killed.

A car and a lorry were involved in a collision between junctions 45 and 46 at about 11:00 GMT. Police said a man died at the scene.

Four vehicles were involved in the second crash, which happened at about 11:30 GMT.

Police closed the northbound carriageway at junction 44 but it has since reopened.
