Halifax car crash: Victim named as Emily Phillips

A 25-year-old woman who died in a car crash on Sunday has been named as Emily Phillips by police.

Ms Phillips from Boothtown died at the scene. Her partner, aged 26, seven-year-old daughter and four-year-old son were all seriously injured.

Six men have been arrested over the crash involving the family's Vauxhall Astra and a Seat Leon on Boothtown Road, Halifax, on Sunday afternoon.

They have been questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Four of the arrested men, who were in the Seat, are aged 19, 20, 21 and 27 and all from Bradford.

The other two men, who are believed to have been in a Mercedes, are aged 23 and 22.
