M62 motorway half-way through upgrade project
A project to upgrade the M62 between junctions 25 and 30, costing £150m, according to the Highways Agency, has been causing delays and still has about a year to run.
The project is to install a "managed motorway" scheme turning the hard shoulder into an extra lane to manage traffic flow and reduce congestion with variable speed limits.
