Work is to start on a renovation of a Grade II-listed Victorian arcade in West Yorkshire.

The canopy and elaborate stonework facade was built in 1898 in North Street, Keighley.

A £725,000 grant, and money from the property owner, is to fund work on the shop fronts, glazed canopy and converting 13 flats above the shops.

The project is part of a Bradford Council and Heritage Lottery Fund scheme to regenerate the town.
