Paralympian David Stone gets gold postbox in Rawdon

A postbox in West Yorkshire has been painted gold in honour of Paralympic cyclist David Stone.

The 31-year-old from Rawdon won gold in the cycling mixed T1-2 road race on Saturday.

The postbox chosen by Royal Mail, just outside Rawdon's Post Office in Town Street, was painted gold on Sunday.

Royal Mail said a first class stamp featuring Stone would be released for sale across the country on Tuesday.
