Police have released a description of a man they want to speak to about a murder in Bradford.

Clement Desmier, 68, was found dead at his house in Rowlestone Rise, Ravenscliffe, on 23 August.

It has emerged he was seen entering his home with a man in his late 20s the previous afternoon.

The man is described as white, slim, with mousey brown, collar-length, hair. He was wearing a grey or beige bomber jacket and a blue baseball cap.

Mr Desmier, who was known as Butch, died from multiple injuries.

Acting suspiciously

Det Supt Mark Ridley, of West Yorkshire Police, said the man he wants to trace could be key to the investigation.

He said: "We are therefore calling on the public to help us locate this man.

"It is now two weeks since [Mr Desmier's] death and this is a new line of inquiry which could potentially take us closer to answers."

Mr Ridley said he was still "extremely keen" to trace two men reported to have been acting suspiciously outside Mr Desmier's home in the early hours of 23 August.

No description of those men has been released.

A 30-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the incident was released without charge.

A £5,000 Crimestoppers reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Mr Desmier's murder.
