Leeds heart transplant girl Gabrysia goes to school
A four-year-old girl from West Yorkshire whose parents were told soon after she was born that without a heart transplant she would only have months to live is preparing for her first day at school.
Gabrysia Filarowski, from Horsforth, Leeds, was born with a rare heart condition and has since undergone a series of major operations.
Her mother, Angela, said Gabrysia's first day at school would be "a huge milestone that we never dreamed to dream".
