£1m job for 100-year-old Yorkshire traditional foundry

A Halifax foundry is making 396 cast iron columns for a new building in London.

The company has taken on extra staff to produce the material using traditional techniques unchanged for 250 years.

The columns will feature in a new office complex being constructed as part of a regeneration project around King's Cross Station.
