Olympic boxer Nicola Adams's 'sheer determination' praised

The mother of Nicola Adams has spoken of how proud she feels of the Leeds boxer's achievement so far in the Olympics.

The 29-year-old guaranteed herself a silver medal by reaching the final of the women's flyweight, but could now go on to win gold, when she fights three-time world champion Ren Cancan on Thursday.

Her mother Dee, said it had been a tough journey for the Olympic boxer.
