Joshua Hirst death: Woman charged with assisting offender

A woman has been charged in connection with the death of a 20-year-old man in West Yorkshire.

Joshua Hirst, of Mirfield, died in hospital from stab wounds after being found in Hepworth Lane, Mirfield, on Friday night.

Kirstie Rainford, 22, of Springbrook Drive in Liversedge, was charged with two counts of assisting an offender.

Ms Rainford was due to appear at Huddersfield Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

Joe Church, 18, of Redlands Close in Mirfield, and Arron Smith, 21, of Saville Street in Emley, appeared at Huddersfield Magistrates' Court on Tuesday charged with the murder of Mr Hirst.

They are due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on Thursday.

A third man, aged 21, is still being questioned by police on suspicion of murder.
