Bradford Bulls is holding a stock clearance at its shop in an effort to raise more funds to help keep the struggling club afloat.

The Super League side, which went into administration after failing to pay off debts, made their entire coaching staff redundant earlier this month.

The club said it had about £50,000 worth of merchandise that it "needed to convert into cash".

Talks are being held with businessmen interested in buying the club.

The club said the clearance would be held at the Bulls shop at Odsal Stadium on Friday and Saturday.

Interim chief executive Gary Tasker said: "We need to raise as much money in the short term as possible.

"This will pay the ongoing costs, such as pitch markings, stationery, coach travel and staff wages to make the business viable in the immediate future.

"We're sat on £50,000 worth of merchandise and we need to convert that into cash to keep the wheels moving."

Administrator Brendan Guilfoyle said the club had until 27 July to find a new owner.
