The funeral has taken place of a two-year-old girl who died after being trapped in a burning van during a fire at a farm in West Yorkshire.

Isobel Dobson, of Hemsworth, died in the blaze at Hessle Farm in Wragby, near Wakefield, on 30 September. Her one-year-old half sister was rescued.

The cause of the fire is not yet known. Isobel's 37-year-old stepfather was arrested and later released on bail.

The funeral took place at Pontefract Crematorium.

An inquest into Isobel's death opened last week and was adjourned.

The family had been at the farm tending to a horse before the fire started in a barn being used to store hay.

West Yorkshire Police said the cause of the fire had not yet been established and a joint investigation by the police and fire service was continuing.
