Switzerland crash pilot identified

A pilot from West Yorkshire has been killed in a light aircraft crash in Switzerland, it has been confirmed.

Sipan Osman, 29, from Leeds, and his 40-year-old passenger died at the scene of the crash in the canton of Neuchatel on Friday.

Mr Osman spoke to the BBC in October 2010 after a light aircraft he was flying in ditched and sank in the River Derwent in North Yorkshire.
