Three men have been charged with murdering a teenager who was killed in a "brutal" knife attack in Preston.

Jonjo Highton, 18, from Preston, died in St Stephen's Road on Saturday night.

Owen Whitesmith, 19, of Glebe Close, Arron Graham, 22, of Ripon Street, and Craig Walton, 26, of Watling Street Road, all of Preston, were remanded to appear at the crown court on Monday.

A post-mortem examination found Mr Highton suffered a wound to the neck caused by a blade.

Five other men remain in custody on suspicion of murder.
