Bamber Bridge woman's death: Man released without charge

A 70-year-old woman who was found dead at a house in central Lancashire died of natural causes, police have said.

Lancashire Police said the woman was discovered at an address in Carr Field, Bamber Bridge, at 11:55 BST on Sunday.

A spokeswoman said her death was treated as "unexplained", but a post-mortem examination had revealed she died naturally.

A 44-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been released without charge.
