The lifeboat station at Blackpool has been celebrating 150 years of rescues.

Since 1864 the town's lifeboat has rescued more than 600 people.

The RNLI said their boat launched an average of 64 times a year.

The current lifeboat cost £214,000 and was funded entirely by voluntary donations.
