Blackpool man jailed for Thomas Poole manslaughter

A man from Blackpool who killed a man "after an argument about alcohol" has been jailed for five years.

Police said Thomas Poole, 23, died in hospital after he was punched and kicked in the face at a house in Ribble Road on 11 January.

Ryan Calvert, 22, earlier admitted manslaughter at Preston Crown Court.

Shaun Dolan, 23, of no fixed address, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm and was jailed for 51 months.
