Blackburn teacher denies 'feet sniffing' sex charges

A teacher has denied sniffing the feet of schoolchildren for sexual gratification.

Martyne Airey, 51, from Parkinson Street, Blackburn, Lancashire, is accused of 13 counts of non-penetrative sexual activity with young boys.

At Blackburn Magistrates' Court he denied the charges, which relate to 13 pupils aged between eight and 11, between June 2012 and October 2013.

He was bailed until 6 May when he will appear before Preston Crown Court.
