Cyclist killed in collision with bus in Lancaster

A cyclist has been killed in a collision with a bus in Lancashire.

Joan Behar, 67, was struck by a single-decker bus on North Road near the junction with Chapel Street in Lancaster on Friday.

She was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital but died later from head injuries, police said.

Sgt David Hogarth said he was keen to keen to speak to anyone who saw Mrs Behar pushing her bike or cycling down Rosemary Lane before the accident.
