The Welsh singer, who is also a mentor on BBC One's The Voice, will appear on the second day of the three-day event in August.

Festival director Peter Taylor said it was a "great coup" to Sir Tom headline on 2 August.

Sir Tom said playing Lytham had been "a long time coming" and it was "great to be returning to the Fylde coast".

Previous performers at the event have included Russell Watson, Rita Ora, Boyzone, Alfie Boe, Lesley Garrett, Olly Murs and Status Quo.
