Accrington festive revellers offered safe 'Haven'
Revellers will be offered free water and medical help in a town centre over the festive party season.
Police will set up a central hub, dubbed the Haven, in Accrington, Lancashire where partygoers can rest and recover from 22:30 to 03:00 GMT.
It has been launched as part of the Nightsafe Haven scheme to keep people safe over Christmas and new year.
The flood-lit van will be in Church Street later and on 14, 20, 21, 28 and 31 December.
Insp Catherine Platt said: "We want everyone to have both a safe and enjoyable time this Christmas and new year."
Lancashire County Council, Hyndburn Council, St John Ambulance and Asda have teamed up with Lancashire Constabulary as part of the Nightsafe Haven initiative.
