An appeal to trace a man in connection with an armed robbery targeting Preston security guards will be made later on BBC One's Crimewatch.

Lee James Seddon, 36, whose last known address was in Bolton, is wanted following the robbery in Brookfield in June.

Guards were robbed by three men wearing balaclavas as they made a delivery to a cash machine on Langfield Road.

Lancashire Police said one of the robbers was armed with a machete.

Two men from Greater Manchester have been charged with conspiracy to rob.

Police said cash was stolen in the robbery, which happened at 09:30 BST on 13 June at the Brookfield Newsagent.

The three men fled in a Mini Cooper which was found a short time later in Troutbeck Place, police said.

Det Sgt Martin Pearson appealed for anyone with information to contact the force.
