Anthony Leeming Anthony Leeming pleaded guilty to robbery at a previous hearing

Two men who robbed an elderly couple at knifepoint in an "alarming and nasty attack" in their Bispham home have been jailed.

The pair climbed through a kitchen window at the couple's home in Blackpool Road on 20 February.

Anthony Leeming, 22, and Shaun McLachlan, 21, both of Blackpool, were sentenced to eight years each at Preston Crown Court.

Both had pleaded guilty to robbery at a previous hearing.

Police said the robbers took knives from a kitchen drawer and threw a man in his mid-80s to the floor before demanding money.

They escaped with £1,500 and a watch, leaving the victims "shaken".
