Teen stabbed in 'ferocious assault' in Preston

Three people have been charged with attempted murder after a teenager was stabbed in a "ferocious assault" in Lancashire.

The 17-year-old was riding his bike in the St Stephens Road area of Preston on Saturday night when he was subjected to the "sustained attack", police said.

He is in the Royal Preston Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Two men aged 20 and 33 and a boy aged 16, all from Preston, are due before magistrates in Preston on Friday.
