Stolen road roller and excavator seized in Lancashire raids
A road roller, a motorhome and an excavator have been seized by police in a series of raids in Lancashire.
Vehicles worth £250,000 were recovered from properties in Rawtenstall and Oswaldtwistle while officers also raided sites in Accrington and Burnley.
Three men aged 40, 40 and 56 were arrested on suspicion of theft, money laundering and handling stolen goods.
Police said some of the machinery had been taken from sites in West Yorkshire in the past year.
Det Sgt Tony Atkins said the raids were as "part of an on-going investigation into the theft of plant machinery" across England.
