Anthony Leeming Police would like to speak to 22-year-old Anthony Leeming

A £2,000 reward has been offered to help catch burglars who robbed an elderly couple at knifepoint in their Blackpool home.

Lancashire Police said two people climbed through a kitchen window at the couple's home in Blackpool Road, Bispham, on 20 February.

Det Con James Edmonds said it was "an extremely alarming and nasty attack".

Police would like to speak to 22-year-old Anthony Leeming from Blackpool in connection with the robbery.

The robbers took knives from a kitchen drawer and threw a man in his mid-80s to the floor before demanding money.

They escaped with £1,500 and a watch, leaving the victims "shaken", police said.

Crimestoppers has offered up to £2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
