Two arrests over Blackburn head injury man

Two people have been arrested after a man was found with life-threatening head injuries following an assault in Lancashire.

The man, 32, was found unconscious at an address in Fielding Crescent, Blackburn, at 11:15 GMT on Tuesday.

He was taken to hospital for surgery and remains in a critical condition, police said.

Two men, aged 42 and 26, from Blackburn, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding.
