Brendan Lally death: Four people questioned

Police are continuing to question four people on suspicion of murder after a man's body was discovered at a house in Burnley.

Brendan Lally, 51, of Springfield Bank was found in Reed Street shortly before 23:30 GMT on Wednesday.

A post-mortem examination revealed he died from head and neck injuries, Lancashire Police said.

One woman and three men, all from the Burnley area, were arrested on Thursday and remain in custody over the death.

Police released a 20-year-old woman without charge.
