Wallace and Gromit's Nick Park says Preston Guild 1972 start of his career

Help

The creator of Wallace and Gromit, Nick Park, returned to his hometown for the Preston Guild and recalls how shooting the 1972 event was one of his first films.

Mr Park said watching old films of the Guild 1972 with his mother on Friday brought back fond memories of his early career.

He said: "It's strange to think that's when I started with that very camera I filmed the Guild parade with and I went on to make many animated movies and things happened after that."
