Retiring head teacher's big send-off

Help

A retiring head teacher from Lancashire has been given an unusual send-off on his last day.

Chris Horrocks has been at Weeton Primary School for 23 years, and has been head teacher for 17 years.

On his final day he was met by the Band of the Kings Division, based at Weeton Barracks, and the students formed a guard of honour.

The children said they would miss the "amazing" Mr Horrocks, who has promised to return for visits.
