James Anderson receives freedom of Burnley
James Anderson was born in Burnley and attended St Theodore's RC High School
Lancashire and England cricketer James Anderson has become the youngest person in history to be granted the freedom of his home town Burnley.
The 29-year-old fast bowler had the honour bestowed upon him at a special civic ceremony at Burnley Town Hall.
He was nominated by local councillors in recognition of his "outstanding services to cricket".
He joins 23 other recipients including former Burnley footballer Jimmy McIlroy who received the honour in 2009.
Anderson was born in Burnley and attended St Theodore's RC High School.
