Help

Staff at online advertising firm Local Link-Up, Lancaster, have been allowed to take their children to work after teachers went on strike.

Employee Nick Beenham said he was fortunate his boss allowed staff to bring their children to work because both his wife and he work for the firm.

His wife Ann said she had no sympathy for the teachers.

The National Union of Teachers (NUT) and Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL) in Lancashire joined the national day of action against the Government plans for public sector pensions.
