Mobile app identifies paedophiles

A mobile phone application, which can help identify predatory adults posing as children online, has been developed by researchers at the University of Lancaster.

They claim that the Child Defence app can analyse language used in written posts to generate an age profile, identifying potential paedophiles.

Internet safety consultant Jon Taylor said that the app had a 90% success rate during tests.
