Motorcyclist killed in crash in Dover

A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash after appearing to lose control, Kent Police said.

The man in his 20s was riding a black Yamaha motorbike along Upper Road, Dover, on Saturday afternoon when he collided with a blue Vauxhall Agila.

He had been riding towards St Margaret's at Cliffe at about 15:25 BST, police said.

The biker was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Vauxhall suffered minor injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact police.
