Second man charged over Gus Allman stabbing

A second man has been charged over the death of a man who was found with stab wounds in Folkestone.

Gus Allman died in hospital after he was found in the Dover Road area on 19 February.

Damian Daley, 39, of London Street in Folkestone has been charged with murder and remains in police custody, Kent Police said.

He is due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

Mr Daley is the second person to be charged with murder after Timothy Avril, 22, from East Dulwich in south east London was charged in April.

Mr Avril, is due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 22 September.

Laura Jayne Smith, 37, also from Folkestone, is also due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 22 September charged with perverting the course of justice.
