A business park in Kent is to get multi-million pound investment to improve roads, power lines and sewerage.

Discovery Park in Sandwich, Kent, is to receive £4.6m from the South East Local Enterprise Partnership Growing Places fund.

About 100 businesses are located on the former Pfizer complex.

Laura Sandys, MP for South Thanet and Sandwich, said she was "delighted" the park had been awarded the funding.

Ms Sandys said the park was "one of the most successful in the country and is really going from strength to strength."

The money is part of South East Local Enterprise Partnership's £46m Growing Places fund, which is providing investment for various parts of the region.
