Sheppey Crossing crash family's bridge safety call

6 August 2014 Last updated at 20:45 BST

The family of a mother and son who died in a crash on the Sheppey Crossing are demanding safety improvements on the bridge.

Deborah Roberts, of Sheerness, and her eight-year-old son Marshall were killed in a collision in July - months after a 150 vehicle pile-up in fog in September 2013.

Swale Borugh Councillor Kenneth Pugh told BBC reporter Simon Jones he held the Highways Agency responsible.

But the agency said it was working closely with police on the investigation into the fatal crash.
