A 26-year-old man has been jailed for raiding a Kent amusement arcade and assaulting a police officer.

Gary Grannells, of Notting Hill, west London, was sentenced to six years and eight months at Isleworth Crown Court.

He admitted assault and handling stolen goods at a previous hearing and was convicted of burglary in June.

Grannells had denied burglary after the cash raid at Mr G's arcade on The Promenade in Leysdown-on-Sea on the Isle of Sheppey in June 2013.
