A woman has been charged with causing the death of a 45-year-old pedestrian by dangerous driving after he was hit by a car in Kent.

Paul Stinton, from Ashford, died from his injuries after he was struck in Simone Weil Avenue in Ashford on 4 January.

Linda Ann Jenns, 48, from Richborough Way, Kingsnorth, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

She is due to appear at Canterbury Magistrates' Court on 14 July.
