Driver arrested after baby injured in Paddock Wood crash

A 30-year-old driver has been arrested after a crash in which a one-year-old child was critically injured.

The baby was hurt when a Mercedes A170 was in collision with a Renault Laguna in Badsell Road, Paddock Wood, Kent.

A woman in her 40s and the child were taken to King's College Hospital, in south London, after the crash at 18:30 BST on Thursday.

The Laguna driver was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and drink driving and bailed until 23 June.
