Folkestone stabbing: Woman faces charge over Gus Allman murder

A woman has been charged with perverting the course of justice by detectives investigating the murder of Gus Allman in Folkestone.

Laura Jayne Smith, 37, who is from the town, was bailed until 19 June when she is due to appear in court.

Gus Allman died in hospital after he was found with stab wounds in the Dover Road area on 19 February.

Timothy Avril, 22, of East Dulwich in south east London, has been charged with Mr Allman's murder.

Kent Police said a 38-year-old man from the Folkestone area has also been bailed until 18 June but has not been charged.
