Man charged over Ashford car crash death

A man has been charged after a man died in a car crash in Ashford, Kent Police said.

Danyl Ponsford, 26, died in the crash in Somerset Road when a Toyota Celica he was driving was in a collision with a Volkswagen Golf on 30 September.

Junel Miah, 27, of Magazine Road, Ashford, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and causing death while driving without insurance.

He is due to to appear at Folkestone Magistrates' Court on 19 May.

A second man has been summonsed to court for driving without insurance.
