16 April 2014 Last updated at 19:46 BST

The M26 was closed in both directions following a five-vehicle crash that killed two people.

Seven people are in hospital, some with serious injuries.

Motorist Alexandra Campbell said when she saw seven ambulances and four or five fire engines go past, she thought: "It's pretty serious".

BBC South East Today's Simon Jones spoke to Ms Campbell, motorist Terry Squires, and Edmund King, from the Automobile Association.
