Lee Birch murdered wife Anne-Marie 'in jealous rage'

A jealous husband who killed his estranged wife after she left him for another man has been jailed for 25 years.

Lee Birch had denied murder during his trial but unexpectedly changed his plea to guilty. He killed his wife Anne-Marie in Broadstairs last November after subjecting her to a campaign of threats and harassment.

BBC South East Today spoke to Det Insp Richard Vickery and Hilary Fisher from Women's Aid.
