Man seriously hurt in window fall in Folkestone

A man was critically injured when he fell from an upstairs window on to the street below, Kent Police said.

The man in his 20s fell from a property in Shakespeare Terrace in Folkestone at about 05:45 GMT on Saturday.

He was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition, police said.

A 48-year-old man from Folkestone has been charged with the supply of class A drugs. He is due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court later.

A second man, aged 33, from the Folkestone area was also arrested and released on bail until 13 June.

The injured man fell "at least one or two storeys", a Kent Police spokesman said.
