Kent floods clear-up continues amid rain alert

31 December 2013 Last updated at 14:59 GMT

Homeowners across the South East are preparing for more heavy rain, even though many residents are still clearing up following the floods over Christmas.

Flood alerts have been issued for the region, with the already flooded towns of Tonbridge and Yalding in Kent areas of particular concern.

Ian Nunn from the Environment Agency said it was hoped higher-level flood warnings would not be required.
