Kent driver dies in Broadstairs crash after car hits walls

A man has died in a crash after his car hit two walls in Kent.

Kent Police said the man's Citroen car hit a garden wall but did not stop, and then hit another boundary wall shortly afterwards on Friday night.

Paramedics were called but the driver died at the scene in the Broadstairs area, officers said.

The force was alerted by a member of the public who saw the car hit the first wall in North Foreland Road, near Kingsgate, at about 23:35 GMT.

The car hit the second wall in George Hill Road, Kingsgate, PC Guy Ditcher said.

Police said the driver, a Margate man in his late 20s, had not yet been officially named, but his family had been informed.

Officers said there was nobody else in the car. The road was closed for several hours.
